Today, the education programs at all levels face severe criticism, and physical education program is no exception. In fact, as school budgets shrink and administrators cut "frills," physical education can be one of the first programs to go. If we are to secure a place for physical education in school curriculum, we must answer two questions: (1) What are the physical, psychological, intellectual and physical education impact upon the overall development of children? and (2) Given the effects, physical education may be considered a frill?
