Question 1) Buying a Used Car vs. Buying a New Car

Buying a car is a thrilling experience. It marks a step into adulthood, shows that you are willing to take on responsibility and that you can finance yourself. Unfortunately, since every individual is not a millionaire, investing in a car is not an easy decision and one that should certainly not be taken on impulse. A lot of thought should be put into the decision. Whether buying a new car or one that is used, each has its advantages and disadvantages. A used car means that you will not have to spend as much as you would if you were to buy a new car. You can find pretty reasonable deals and often find a diamond in the rough which means after a little work, it will be worth more than what you paid to acquire it. Comparatively, a new car will cost you a lot more but will definitely not require any work and you can rest assured that the engine will not cause you problems for a few years. Another factor that also should be considered is how you view yourself in society. Many people find it derogatory to be seen in an older, used car and prefer to be seen in latest models, fresh off the production line. Conclusively, except for the finances, it is totally up to your comfort, your safety and your personal preference.
