Executive Summary

The Vodafone Company is the world's second largest mobile telecommunication company operating in around thirty countries. It is observed that types of the training strategies that company uses and determines the training development is positively significant with employees' satisfaction. Moreover, the training is the significant part of the development program that the company intends to consider, as it is the complex task within the responsibility of the human resource management department of the company. The project intends to analyze the relationship between the employees training and development program as well as employee job satisfaction within Vodaf".

Relationship between Employee Training & Development - Vodafone

There is a great relationship between the employee training and development. The human resource department of an organization is mainly responsible for conducting the training and development sessions within the organizations. It is claimed that the training of employees play a crucial role behind the development of an employee. A well trained employee is also the well developed employee of the company. This is the reason why companies are paying great attention on adopting latest and innovative strategies to train their employees so that the employees of the company can be developed in a skilled manner.

Observation

In order to conduct the study on relationship between the employee training and development at Vodafone UK, the observations will be conducted. The employees of Vodafone will be observed for identifying the development which they have received as a result of training. The different training procedures will also be observed in order to identify the effectiveness of training sessions at Vodafone UK. The 25 employees will be surveyed and the questions about the training process at Vodafone UK will be asked to them. These surveyed employees will be monitored and observed. Different trainings of these employees will be observed and the impact of these trainings on the development of these employees will be measured.

Problem Identification (Preliminary Information Gathering)

As the organization of Vodafone is a large multinational corporation; therefore, it has been located confronting with its HR management issues. Therefore, a specified area of HR is used for fulfilling the purpose under which organization may run its business effectively. The management area of HR, existing within the organization of Vodafone is taken under consideration, where employee training and development project is located being evaluated according to the organizational requirements. Additionally, the organization of Vodafone has been located tackling with its employee training issues for more than five years, which have always been expected creating obstacles to survive with eminency. Therefore, by realizing the need of employee training and development, the kind of project has been targeted for the organization, which may serve in enhancing its working capabilities, within the current competitive market of telecommunications (Kloppenborg & Petrick, 2002).
