Presence of bystanders affects helping

It has been observed that when people are in the presence of others or are in public they less intends to help others if they are in a snag or in a state of emergency. Psychological observations says that whenever there is a presence of other people, the sense of responsibility scatters and equally fall onto other participants as well. Starting from an individual level, they refuse to help the one who is in danger by assuming that they are shifting their responsibility to help on others (Cherry, 2013). In order to take an action by a bystander, it is essential that they should be very well defined and aware of the danger and emergency the other person is facing. By this practice a bystander will possibly be converted and influenced by the decision they observe other bystander has been taking. It is significant to craft it clear to them that event as an emergency so that the bystander takes any proper measure to react to such situations (Cherry, 2013).
