ABSTRACT

The increase in demand for education, due to the growing awareness of the need education, is illustrated by the increasing trend of students towards online education. Students want to learn and get equal opportunities to develop their skills. It has been commonly known throughout the world that the higher the level of education, the higher the level of professional activation, lowers unemployment and higher earnings. However, in recent times, the introduction of the concept of online education has shortened the gap between the opportunities for the students to get education. Therefore, this research work has undertaken the study that revealed the effectiveness of online education in creating positive culture for the youth at risk. This study has illustrated that internet has now turn out to be persistent in young people's lives, therefore this research work has studied that whether the online education create positive culture for the youth at risk or not? However, the fourth chapter of this study has presented the findings and analysis of both primary and secondary data through implementing qualitative and quantitative research methods. As this study has approached it has analyzed both positive and negative aspects of online education and its impact on youth. In carrying out this research work, sample size of 100 participants was taken under observation through which it has been analyzed that along with negative aspects of online education the positive aspects of the use of internet in e-learning has more potential for enhancing and learning education.

Introduction

This chapter will be providing the analysis of the data obtained from the observations and the analysis of the findings from the secondary sources as well. This chapter has presented the online risks for instance; cyber bullying, addiction and sexual solicitation are linked with the negative effects for the youth. Hence, it is also of considerable importance to indicate that all the children are not equally susceptible, therefore, there is need to perform further research in order to indicate the youth who are at more risk and furthermore to extend effective interventions.

Observations and Analysis of the Findings

The introduction of internet has provided several benefits in certain areas of social, cognitive and physical development because of which it can also be utilized to present treatment interventions. Hence, this fact cannot be denied that internet has delivered both opportunities and risks for the young people (Zhang, Z., & Kenny, 2010). The introduction of several innovative technologies for instance internet and computers now have become enmeshed in the lives of young people, according to a survey report done by Kaiser in 2004, it has been illustrated that 74% of 8 years to 18 years old have internet accessibility in their homes in United States.
