Introduction

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant facts and figures regarding “Diversity in Multiculturalism”. For attaining this purpose, we have examined the gist of two chapters from the book Diversity and Multiculturalism: A Reader by Shirley R. Steinberg. In the next section, we will provide a detailed summary of both the chapters i.e. CH #3: Placing Whiteness within Diversity and CH#7: Addressing Diversity: Race, Ethnicity, & culture in the classroom.
