The study relates to PRECEDE-PROCEED model and health promotion for families with school aged children. In this context, the basic principles of PRECEDE-PROCEED model are used public health though it also entails other issues of community. For that reason, PRECEDE-PROCEED is a model which is not only used for the health intervention, but also for community intervention (Ivanov and Blue, 2008). In addition to this, the PRECEDE-PROCEED model focuses on the community as the source of health promotion.
