In Saudi Arabia the culture makes the education of its people differ significantly from that of people around the world, which does not mean that it is of low quality, but on the contrary, education in Saudi Arabia was ranked as one of the best in the world. (Elliot 2008)Young people living in this country must necessarily perform the four educational levels are established by law, primary, intermediate, secondary and university education and of course, schools are not mixed, but the boys are on one side to school and the other girls.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Background
The interest in identifying gifted children and build their capacities in Saudi Arabia and the Arab countries began in theory in the last quarter century. However, this interest does not crystallize in an effort to methodological and academic until 1990, when the results of first study entitled "National Identification and Development of Children" was published. (El-Sanabary 2007) They also developed the General Skills Scale Test-Group-(Scholastic Aptitude scale). Since then, the scales used in the identification of gifted children have been limited to WISC-R, the literacy scale, albeit infrequently, and Torrance Test of thought creative. (El-Sanabary 2009)
Rationale
Although gifted education in Saudi Arabia began in the early 1990, this country, like many other developing countries, recognized the importance of promoting needs of gifted children long before that date, in mid-twentieth century. In 1968, Saudi Arabia established educational policy that every student has the right to develop their talents and capacity. However, not adopted or programs or any other type of educational services until 1995, when the Ministry of Education initiated a program called Talent Search. In 1998, the Ministry of Education established a series of gifted education centers in throughout the country.
Research questions
The research will answer the following question.
How education is developed in Saudi Arabia?
What are the factors related to Saudi education?
