Introduction

The problem that I will discuss in my paper is the slow contamination of water in the Ship Creek at Anchorage, Alaska. The creek is a frequent point of visitation by locals as well as tourists, since it boasts of large numbers of salmon that are unique to the spot. With the urbanization of surrounding areas and industries thriving, there has been contamination of the water and hence, the fish are affected as a result.
