The fitness-for-duty evaluations (FFDE) are conducted for law enforcement personnel on duty, in order to determine whether the law enforcement personnel are able to psychologically perform their duty (Goldstein and Weiner 2003). This paper strives to recommend certain additional items that should be included in the evaluation along with including the employees in the FFDE as the director of a new in-house psychological services section for a mid-size, metropolitan police department.
