1- Aims

The study was directed at both practice and academia, this article reports on research carried out by a private firm that will make its assessment on the basis of the training program evalauation, that will raise awareness among prison staff to support the needs of street sex workers in their care. This paper assesses the training and makes recommendations for the future.

2 - Study of the Problem

To improve the approaches, services and activities for women in the criminal justice system and women at risk of committing crimes. Prisons address the needs of supporting those in their care to reduce the recurrence path, these paths cover issues such as housing, health care, as well as children and families. Studies must approve the two additional ways for women prisoners, which was submitted by women and youth groups through the publication of their strategy and a handbook on social adaptation of women prisoners.

Issues that must be considered barriers that may prevent women from accessing support, introducing and training that support services are available, what support needs and decisions of negative behavioral responses to disclosure. Research interview with prison staff, sex workers and project commercial sex workers in and out of custody, showed many of the gaps in knowledge and gaps in communication in prisons, which could lead to more support, which was available in prisons not available to women. The findings also stressed that the support needs of women are defined, but they are not satisfied.

This research is able to deliver a clear indication that even the knowledge among prison personnel that may be sex workers in their care varied, a governor said that he was not sex-workers in jail. (Janis Peterson 2003) ...
