Introduction

Cyber surveillance is referred as the method for the surveillance or observation of objects, persons or processes that are usually based on latest tools and technologies. It is referred as the surveillance of such things, whose operations are usually based on data networks, for instance internet. The purpose of the cyber surveillance is to ensure the complexity, rapidity and quantity of the data or information to be processed. As a whole surveillance is referred as the analysis and gathering of information in order to seek several finalities specifically, familiarizing human behaviors, avoiding certain risks and in the in case of any issue, locating and establishing the responsible system or person (Bamford, 2008).

In the current era, cyber surveillance is considered as the fundamental aspect of daily life. It plays a vital role and it has huge impacts on our lives at home, work and school. Several distinct software are used for cyber surveillance (Bennett &Raab, 2006). The involvement and impacts of cyber surveillance on our lives at home, work and school are discussed in the proceeding paper. Different software which are usually used in the cyber surveillance are also discussed in the proceeding discussion.

Discussion

Along with the technology advancement, cyber surveillance has become an effective part of our daily routine lives. Refinement and spread of information technology and internet have enhanced the abilities for managing large number of risks while ensuring the integrity and security of places, data, persons and procedures across the range of areas. While considering the worldwide terrorist attack, like those committed in the U.S. on 11 Sep. in the year 2001 or in the United Kingdom underground in the year 2005 July, route to cyber surveillance has increased in order to reduce the vulnerabilities and threats regarding the security and integrity of the country (Bennett &Raab, 2006).

On the other hand, cyber surveillance has intensely relied on by the governments in order to execute several governmental responsibilities in the welfare, health, civil security and education sector. Businesses and organizations are always devoted to protect particular confidential data or to monitor and observe the behavior of their clients or employees (Bennett &Raab, 2006). For this purpose the organizations, businesses and governments implements corporate surveillance and cyber surveillance. Citizens' organizations and civil society may also use advanced and updated technologies in order to monitor the deeds and words of businesses or authorities as part policies to publicly criticize conduct they think not to be unacceptable. Additionally criminal groups and delinquents may also use the technology of cyber surveillance in order to full fill their objectives (Bennett &Raab, 2006).

The technology of cyber surveillance involves the collection of data or information, through different software programs of surveillance or other advanced technological techniques and tools.
