The company, Business Objects was incorporated in France initially, yet was given an English name because the founders felt they could market the company more effectively, and the influence of U.S was so extensive that in France it was assumed that this company was a subsidiary of a U.S company. The employee's, as well as finance and business partners were from around the world. The company had offices in California, Newyork and other locations of United States, as well as in Germany, the UK and Singapore.
Eventually, it deliberately split the main office in France just to emphasize to employees that this business was not French company. However research and development was conducted in France due to the low turnout rate and less focus on salaries, to create English, German, French, Japanese and Spanish versions of the product.
Policy That Should be Adopted

The policy makers should be aware of what will be most suitable for a larger corporate group like Business Object. Policies will have to be according to the industry sector of the company and they will have to keep in mind that this company operates across various industries and countries and this isn't just low level diversity, it is a collaboration of multiple cultures.

Majority of the businesses have been impacted by cultural differences because of globalization and are now expanding their operations to different countries of the world.
