Now day's immigration is done on large scale because of this industrialization societies are becoming more and more pluralistic in regards of culture. Challenges are faced by the mental health service in the developing countries regarding taking care widely and psychiatrists are usually called for social groups which are having diverse culture. Patients are evaluated which are having ethnocultural background. They need clinicians to evaluate the impact of culture on their psychiatric illness. These illnesses also include symptoms and help seeing actions. Clinicians require method for evaluating cultural formation during their clinical process so that they can accurately diagnose cross cultural boundaries and prepare treatment plan which are agreeable by patient and families in few cases.
In this case Carmen is having a different family background and having difficulty in taking proper advice because of not telling the truth. Without knowing the truth clinicians cannot examine the real cause. If they will know the main reason then they will plan treatment accordingly and Carmen can feel satisfied from that treatment.

Brief Description of Carmen
Carmen is a Mexican American girl having Catholic religion. She is studying accounting in a university. She is very good student but unfortunately she is dropping university. The reasons behind dropping are that her home is very far from the university. Another reason is that her boyfriend wants to start a family by getting married.
In this situation she is not able to select any one option she can choose career or family but she is very confused. Her European American friend gave her advice of going for counsel of the university. She went to take counseling but there she did not tell the real problem and said that she is not feeling comfortable in this university, she has lost her weight and sleeps more than the limits. So according to this problem counselors suggested her psychiatrist and considered her as depressed student. She was not satisfied with university counseling and visits to psychiatrist so she left counseling.
Clients presenting problem
The presenting problem of the client is to get proper counseling without showing the cultural problems. As in this case client does not want to tell her actual reason but she wants a good advice so she can take decision between choosing career or family.
