Background of the research

The 1st scenario is about racial profiling where young adult Black men were imprisoned more than young adult Whites and Hispanic. The 2nd scenario talks about a woman named 'Maria' who was not promoted as said by her because of racial discrimination.

I choose scenario '1' because it shows a broader picture of the cultural diversity than scenario '2' where only a single incident is highlighted and it would be wrong to see cultural diversity based on just a single case.
