Introduction

In 1829, Sir Robert Peel established the law enforcing department known as Metropolitan Police where he had the charge as Home Secretary of England. He stated that the real factor for policing is that the police have an involvement of people and the people have an involvement of police. Peel had a strong belief that the prevention of crime can be made possible without affecting the lives of citizens. The proper training of Metropolitan Police is a vital step for having an effective law and order situation in the country. Peel developed nine principles for the policing practice. These nine principles are very much relevant in the present times which they were during the 19th century. The concept of community policing is based on the Peel's concept of prevention. It is a fact that Community Policing has been accepted by many law enforcement organizations across the entire country. The goal of the Community Policing is to prevent any sort of crime and to make efforts for the promotion of better police community partnerships. However, there is a need to have adequate investment in the training of Community Policing. There is also a requirement to give special attention to problem analysis, problem solving, and resolution of conflict, identification of resource, creating networking linkages and also developing cross cultural competency. In this topic, the relationship between cultural aspects and community policing will be discussed in detail. This is a major issue because it matters in those communities where there is large number of multi cultural societies. The government having control of the administration affairs has a major role in this regard. Therefore, all the issues and aspects related to the cultural considerations will be discussed in detail.

Effect of cultural considerations on justice and security administration

There is an extensive training program provided by the Policing Institute to the police offers of Niagara Falls. They have a major role to communicate with the diverse populations and groups who are among the fundamentals of the community. They also cooperate on the problem oriented issues related to the policing. There are some common set of rules which have a proper meaning rather than just having words. This is the reason why proper training will enable an effective communication process between the Community Policing and the multi-cultural society (Brown, 2004).
