Introduction

Now a day there is a huge discussion about the role of criminal law to control the diseases. Many leading experts have also participated in the studies and say there is huge room of criminal law in the control of diseases. Criminal law in the society is all about to stop the crime (Moore 2010, pp. 3-25). Many diseases are generated because of the illegal practices of people like the sexually transmitted diseases and alcohol related diseases. These diseases are affecting a large number of members in the society that is why it is the direct subject of criminal law to protect the citizens. Through the retribution, deterrence, incapacitation, rehabilitation, and restoration criminal law can be very successful in the control of diseases in the society (Francis & Francis 2012, pp. 47-63)

The Most Dangerous Diseases In The Society

Society is the collective name of people, institutions and laws which are prevailing in a particular geographic limitation. In a society, the intensity of problem measured through the number of victims, economic losses and time period during which it remained active. There are some diseases which are also considered social problems because they are not limited to an individual. These diseases are infectious and transmitting from one person to another. In this way, a large number of people in the society are affected. These diseases are related to sex, alcohol and drug for which there is a dire need of criminal laws.



Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)

Chlamydia

It is bacterial diseases which can be transmitted during anal, oral and virginal sex. Usually, both male and females are getting this disease, but symptoms are not shown in the short period of time. However, some symptom like burning during abnormal discharge of urinates from your penis or vagina. In case of doubt or when symptoms are caused, people can test from the laborites to verify the diseases.

Gonorrhea

It is also an infectious disease which transmitted from the infectious sex partner. The bacteria can damage the mouth, anus or genital tract. It is also creating burning and pain during the abnormal discharge and urinates. This disease also transmits from mother to child. The correct testing at the lab can diagnose the disease, but many people do not know about the disease until it shows some symptoms.

Genital Herpes

It is virus related disease which spread from sex partner. It also passes from mother to child during the childbirth. The virus Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) enters in the body and harms the parts of the body where it positioned. It can diagnose with lab tests but difficult to treat with medicines. The medicines can also give relief for the short time.

Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS)
