Psychological construct refers to the activity or pattern of different activities that cannot be observed but in reality they occur or exist. Out of many psychological constructs, hallucination has been selected. Hallucination is the state of mind in which perception is created while there is absence of stimulus. A person in the state of hallucination is not in unconscious state rather he is in conscious state without any effect of external stimuli on his perceptions. Hallucination is a psychological model in which a person starts projecting things which are not natural or which are not possible at that particular time. There is maximum possibility that the person who is hallucinating missed the originality of an event and start project it on his own imaginations. Some people compare it with dreaming. Dreaming is a state in which the person is not aware of his surrounding and he is not awake. Dreaming also does not affect the real sense of perception. Whereas hallucination is actually affecting the real perception of a person. The medium through which hallucinations can be transmitted can be auditory, visual, olfactory, tactile, gustatory, tactile, etc. Disturbance is also a type of hallucination. A person in the state of hallucination can hear the things not present, can see things which are not actually present and can create any situation according to his perception.
