Introduction

This is a comparitive analysis among two schools named as Pre-K Urban Crisis Day care center and the second one is William B. cruise Memorial School (School #11) . Both schools resides in Passaic Nj. In this paper, we examine the processes of alignment by which connections were formed across multiple communities within two separate schools, both of which were initiating similar reforms at the same point in time.

Examining common programs, course requirements and modes of delivery of the U.S. higher education system. Students come to the United States from all over the world to earn a competitive, reputable, and valuable education. One thing that attracts so many international students is the extremely diverse nature of U.S. institutions both in the average student body makeup and the content of various curricula. The right setting and time of day can sometimes have a huge impact on the way individual students absorb information. Whether you have chosen a small school that offers career-oriented technical training or a liberal arts education on a much larger campus, you likely have quite a few options for scheduling and course material delivery.

Pre-K Urban Crisis Day care center in Passaic Nj

Urban Crisis Day Care Center in Passaic is an all Pre-K school. It has eight classrooms with approximately 135 students. Each classroom is composed of fifteen students, two bilingual teachers (one English speaking and one Spanish speaking), and one floating teacher that rotate around the school every day on each classroom. It is located in the Hispanic community area with 50-70% low-income Latino families are of the population. The school is surrounded with many shops, restaurants, and business reflecting the city's Hispanic or Latino populations.

The school is using High Scope, an early childhood curriculum which has been designed to stimulate the students to develop socially and academically according to their developmental stage. The curriculum is child directed, which means that the children are taught through meaningful experiences that are interesting to them. On a daily basis, the students have variety, of activities which include language development, fine and gross motor skills development, music physical education, creative play and plenty of reading since they are focusing on literacy.

Each classroom is divided into nine areas: Block Area, House Area, Writing Area, Sand and Water Area, Art Area, Computer Area, Book Area, Discovery Area, and Private Area. In each area materials are organized so students can get them out easily and put them away independently. Students in this classroom are all familiar to the different areas; this is seen as students enter the classroom.

The two teachers, Group Teacher and Paraprofessional are already busy attending to the students when I arrived in the classroom between 8:30-9:00am. Some parents had already dropped-off their children and some are still rushing in the classroom. There are students eating breakfast in the table and some are busy signing their name, putting their job on the lunch chart, and others are brushing their teeth.
