SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR ADMISSION IN AVERETT UNIVERSITY GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDIES PROGRAM

My name is ABC, and I had applied into Averett University but, unfortunately, did not meet the admission requirements into the Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) program. My previous academic performances will notifies you about my capabilities.

I was chosen for class 10 and 11 based on my performance in grade 9. I was honored and glad to be admitted in this ABS school. However, during my high school, I faced a difficult time regarding my studies, which was due to the memorizing of each subject as teachers only considers this in exams. Therefore, I recognized that I am not as smart and responsive as other students in the class since I was not able to establish right attitude. Hence, I struggled a lot in these past two years. Though I was putting much effort in my studies, but I was receiving an average grade in all my subjects. Nevertheless, I then set an objective for myself that was to be top and fro that I start motivating myself by developing an interest and enjoying my studies. Finally, my efforts worked my grades start improving compared to my previous mark-sheet, and I succeeded to be in top 10 students of the class.

No matter spending my time, I decided to take business studies in my secondary school. I decided to do my majors in business in my sophomore year. I had already taken business and economics in my preceding school classes. I had the ability of brain storming and access to new knowledge easily, and I have slowly erected my own analytical and critical thinking on these majors. Majority of the university practiced of spoon feeding system which is not suitable for me, this thing only encourages students to memorize everything or details in the books and ultimately ending with excellent grades. My grade sheet is enclosed from which you can analyze my performance trend. After my high school, I start doing my internship in different places which enhances my, interest more in the business studies.
