India is one of the battlegrounds for cola wars between Pepsi and Coca- cola with over one billion potential customers in the region. Both the cola companies have invested a significant amount of money and time in winning the cola war in India. However, Pepsi has outnumbered the fans of coca- cola in India. Although, both the corporations have used almost same tactics for attracting the Indian customers towards their brand but Pepsi co prospered whereas coca cola was not able to capture a significant market share in India (Yoffie, 2002).
