Child Development and International Learning in Harsh Conditions
Introduction
Education has been a significant issue in countries such as Jamaica, Africa, Japan, and other region where conditions are harsh. In harsh and unfavorable conditions, education can face a number of challenges and issues pertaining to the development of children. Poor standards and quality of education can result in a negative impact on early education and children aged between 7-12 years. With respect to improving the conditions and quality of education, the ministries of education in countries such as Jamaica and Japan acknowledge that they need to work on the National Curriculum scheme for the reform and development of education in the medium term and long term. However, they also need to ensure that children get education under conditions, which are appropriate and acceptable (Abdi, 2006). The learning environment of schools needs to be clean, non-violent, and have facilities such as technologically advanced equipments like projectors and computers. In addition, there needs to be a focus on raising the standards of teachers and improving the quality of education in impoverished regions and achieving balanced development in the field of education. The achievement of balanced development in education largely depends on improving the quality of education and higher levels of teachers and infrastructure in schools located in impoverished regions.
Thesis Statement

The research method used is qualitative. Qualitative research is practically more immanent than quantitative one. This research applied various methods of accumulating data which could be both primary as well as secondary. As already adverted, this study chooses the secondary method. This type of study is often less costly than quantitative studies & is exceedingly effectual in acquiring ...
