However, comparing the treatment in jail, it is also a type of treatment center, where the patients are kept in order to give them the treatment (Fairchild, 2001). Prisons primarily are for giving punishment on the acted crime, and if the prisoner is indulged in some kind of addiction, than the treatment are done in the jail, according to the ethics (Farrington & Welsch, 2007).
