According to several studies, it is examined that nurses have to spend 15% of their time on direct care of patients. Half of the time of nurses goes in documentation and documentation is not possible without IT. Clinical documentation is the major area where safety is the major concern and, proper attention has to be given on this matter (Dennis, Wixom, & Roth, 2012). Nurses are getting proper training of IT expertise but, as time passes technology are advancing and nurses have to be more competent in this matter. Nurse informatist is preferring change management in their job's responsibilities. As change management require some transitions to produce better outcomes for future and, remove certain mishaps happened in the past. There are ranges of strategies applied in nursing recent years. Researchers apply one or two social science methods on these strategies (Leyland, Hunter & Dietrich, 2009). The relevancy to the role of nurse through change management is seen through team work and satisfaction, giving benefits to patients by providing best quality care with safety and providing a better environment for patients. Change management help the nurse to go through the proper organizational structure and follow the rules of organization with just one aim which is to provide quality cure to patients.

In an open system approaches, health care organizations bring a change through a linkage between the internal and external environments.
