Champion of the World by Maya Angelou

Introduction

The paper discusses about Maya Angelou as being acknowledged as one of the preeminent black American poets and writers of our time. Her book, "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings," is an autobiographical collection depicting events and values of the black community during her formative years.
