"Phenomenal Woman”, Maya Angelou, recounts herself from her own perspective. He shows us his strong self-confidence when expressing how she feels personally about herself. It can lead us to believe that she does feel unattractive when she describes in the poem "Beauty I wonder where my secret lies." "The men asked themselves what they see in me." It shows that although it is not pretty, petite woman, she is beautiful and can attract attention in any circumstances.

She not only speak for myself, but to speak for all women. Women can do and be anything if they have the confidence to prove it. In the poem, it is for us just that. She tells them that it was about her, and they just think she's lying.
