Introduction

The family system of America, also referred to as the nuclear family, has undergone dramatic changes over the years. Families are formed when two people marry each other. However, due to a variety of reasons the parents might decide to break up or get a divorce. In some cases it has been observed even broken families come together. All these events have a huge impact on the life of children involved.

Thesis Statement

American families are created when two people marry each other for various reasons, love being the chief one. However, sometimes due to circumstances, they are unable to live a successful married life, which is why they break up. At times, the value of something is known when it is lost, in the same way after breaking up sometimes, people realize they shouldn't have broken up and come back together.

1. Families are formed when two people marry each other

a) When two people fall in love and agree to spend their lives together as one and have kids.

b) According to some family systems the parents decide to marry their children to someone of their choosing.

c) Parents live together with their children who are married and have their own families

2. The people might decide to break up or get a divorce

a) They stop loving each other.

b) One of them has been unfaithful to the other

c) One of the parents does not fulfill his/her responsibility either as a husband/ father or as a mother/wife

3. Broken families come together

a) When the parents realize they did love each other

b) When they learn to compromise or forgive

c) When they realize their responsibilities start fulfilling them.
