Task 1) Job Description for the Position of French Teacher

Title of the job: French Language Teacher

Reports to: Administrator or Principal

Qualifications: Master's Degree in French literature from a highly recognised and registered institution. The candidate should have the skills, abilities and aptitude level so that he/she can perform the duties effectively and he/she must hold a certificate in teaching profession from a national institution.

Job Description: the duties of the teacher will be to effectively deliver lectures by using latest technology like projector, internet sources etc. The teacher should be able to teach French language to all the classes with proficiency.

Physical Requirements: Should be able to stand for longer period of time during lectures; excellent in hearing and speaking abilities. The candidate should be smart with decent appearance.

Responsibilities: the teacher should be responsible for the following:

Promoting students to effectively speak in French

Should support and strengthen the learning capabilities of the students

Able to teach subjects in French language with an appropriate instructional stage

Maintenance of healthy and highly interactive learning environment

Follow school policies and procedures and should be very careful of his behaviour with students

Should be helpful in developing content material and syllabus for all the classes

Responsible in updating accurate student records regarding attendance etc.

Ability to deliver complete, understandable and interactive lectures

Task 2) Selection Panel

The selection panel should consist of people who are highly involved in strategic planning of the school system. The panel should consist of Human Resource manager and 2 senior teachers. The two senior teachers should be having at least 5 years of teaching experience in the same school as it will help in gauging candidates potential according to the school standards. The selection panel should have an idea of recruitment process.
