Introduction

One needs to be on the right career track coupled with an appropriate set of skills to flourish outright. However, deciding which career to opt for has is and will always be a daunting task for many, especially young teenagers, who are faced with numerous career choices and are constantly bombarded with unsought, frivolous advice from virtually every one they meet in today's world. Career counselling largely revolves around students' interests and skills only to guide them towards the most felicitous career path. We shouldn't expect absolute clarity and decisiveness because as teenagers, they are still growing up. They need time and exposure to identify what they want to do with their lives. I encourage students to talk about their favourite subjects and inform them about the most relevant professional choices that are available based on their interests.

Purpose and Method

Career decision always require a reflection on ones strengths and weaknesses, therefore, out of the range of numerous career choices, selecting the right one is often crucial. For me this decision lies between adopting the career of a special worker or either the health care manager. To narrow down my choices, I intend to compare both the profession comprehensively.

In order to collect information about both the choices I conducted a secondary research by reading the articles from the online journals and libraries.

Nature of the Job

On the other hand, Health managers provide services (non-clinical) within the core team of health services. They have the responsibility to implement a range of health services to see to the implementation of programs and evaluation. Service managers plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities of financial services and development. Or they are therefore responsible for finance, management of health services, the implementation procedures and the financial system of a health facility (Walsh,2008,23-26). Them or they prepare or coordinate the financial statements, estimates, summaries and other reports analysis and financial management. Or they are also responsible for planning and marketing of their health facility. They hire staff and see to its formation.
