The primary focus of the project is to find the feasibility to operate a fast food restaurant at Defense Colony. For this we conducted some of the market appraisal, technology appraisal and financial analysis.

Market Appraisal:

We selected Defense Colony for the restaurant. It is very completive market. We have to provide better services for keeping our existence in the location. There is huge potential of customers who are seeking healthy, tasty food as well as a better family environment.

Technological Appraisal:

We are using oven for frying the chicken and french-fries, therefore we do not have to worry about technological advancement in near future. It all depends on taste, quality and environment which one restaurant provides (Upton, Teal & Felan, 2002, P. 60-72).

Financial Analysis:

Financial Analysis outcomes are also in the favor of operating fast food restaurant. It is projected that the restaurant will generate cash flows of 4.3mn (NPV) from the investment of 3.9mn in next five years. This project has a payback period of 2.89 years.

Objective

The objective of the starting a restaurant is to provide high quality food at a cheaper rate to the customers. The objective of the business is also to earn profit and expand the business as well. One of the core objectives of the business is to achieve a profitable and better return than the market on the investments of the investor (Teo & King, 1997, P. 185-21).

Mission

The mission of the restaurant is to raise the quality of the food and the standard of the food in the fast food restaurants. This is not enough but the mission is also providing a wide range of fast food items with delicious taste. The restaurants aim is to provide a good experience to its customers.

The company basically operates in the food industry. It's business operations comes under the fast food business. Its core competences are in the fast food and the target market is youth. The restaurant will be the finest and the best restaurant of the town and it will be for all.
