Toyota is a renowned brand name in the Automobile Industry. It boasts of an enormous number of world class automobiles to its credit. Toyota has been involved in car production within United Kingdom for a long period. It has been dealing with increased competition within United Kingdom. The key to dealing with cut throat competition has been Toyota's Product Durability (Knapman, 2012).

Even in the face of massive competition, Toyota has been able to position itself exceedingly well among its competitors. The threat of Competition has been increasing day by day for Toyota. Its competitors are offering low priced vehicles with innovative technologies. Toyota positions its vehicles on the basis of reliability and durability.

If we look at Toyota's history, its brand Carina E has been a hit. It was manufactured at the company's plant at Burnaston, Derbyshire. Looking at the resounding success of Carina E, Toyota is emphasizing on providing its customers new models for those who have been using Carina E since long. It has a plan in place to find out customers who are using the oldest Carina E models and wants to offer them new model of Auris Hatchback. Since Auris Hatchback is also manufactured by the same production line, Toyota wants to replicate the success of Carina E with Auris Hatchback. It has been observed that a large number of Carina E old models have been plying on United Kingdom roads.

Since Carina E was manufactured in Britain, it must be having a K plate. The Burnaston built vehicles have an S on their number plate. For tracking purposes, Toyota is asking people who spot K-plates to let the customer know about the search. They can communicate it to the owner by any method.

Additionally Toyota is encouraging its customers to post pictures of their Carina E cars on facebook so that they have an idea which of the customers are having the oldest models of Carina E.

Toyota has always focused on providing high standards of quality to its customers. When it had to begin manufacturing in the U.K, Toyota based its decision on this concept.
