ABSTRACT

Every organisation has human resource management to make sure that they manage their human resources in the best possible manner. One of the most important functions of the human resource department is the recruitment. Organizations all over the world keep searching for the best available talent all the time to ensure that they remain ahead in their respective fields. This dissertation had studied the importance of recruitment and selection in an organization with the case study of TESCO. This dissertation had applied both secondary and primary research methods to carry out research, and qualitative research methods. In the qualitative primary methods, this dissertation had applied the tools of interviews and questionnaire. The results of this dissertation had showed that TESCO is focusing on the recruitment and selection of employees and is making a lot of effort to develop an inimitable competitive advantage from its human resources.
