Abstract

The phenomenon of working in partnership is not new; however, in the twentieth century this phenomenon has witnessed tremendous growth as majority of private and public organization of the world are engaging in various types of partnership activities as it allows these organization with the option of interacting with their loyal customers in more effective manner. Moreover, after analyzing the uncountable benefits of partnership the health and social care industry of the world particularly of UK is striving hard to improve their coordination with each other with the main intention of providing quality health and social care services to the people of the country.

Introduction

The notion of 'partnership' over the year has develop into omnipresent not only in public and private organization rather in the Labour government's public speaking relating to health and social care and most of these organization are expectant to formulate innovative techniques, that can pave the way for “breaking the ice” between public and government. Meanwhile, this is also a fact that concept of “Berlin wall” is being interpreted in different ways by different people; where as its main concept is to formulate appropriate and successful governmental policies.

Hence, to entail that association, business enterprises, or businessperson, professionals are accountable for the double standards and hypocritical behaviour (Barrett et al, 2005, pp. 25-45). Thus, the importance, and necessities of effectual partnership working is the extremely important, particularly organizations like healthcare that are going towards major transformation, to ensure the desires of old generation are fulfilled, for instance, formulation of “primary care thrust” in centre of country is one such small step forward.

The next section, of the paper will briefly discuss the concept of partnership and collaboration, and will analyze the extensive literature available on the formulation of successful partnership concept (Department of Health, 2011, pp. 5-10). On the other hand, it is also a fact, that successful partnership has certain problems and role played by health and government partnership in current circumstances while serving the old generation of the society. Because old population of the country are considered as the primary users of social and health care services, and thus the next section would discuss the policies formulated to enhance the working relationship between the two entities (Department of Health, 2006, pp. 10-20).
