Introduction
Breast cancer is the common cancer in women, and, according to the estimate, the rate of this disease is one third to the total population of the female. This cancer is causing much mortality worldwide between the ages of 40 and 55. It has been found that, out of 8 females, one female develops breast cancer in United States. The death rate due to breast cancer has been controlled within previous decade but, it had increased in the past over fifty years. It has been found that, 25% to 30% women, die of breast cancers and, remaining women about 70% to 75% die of other diseases. The diagnosis of breast cancer is not essentially the sentence of death, which is the thought of several females (Chung et, al, 2008). It has been researched that, mortality rate is greater in young females less than age 35 and, very old age, above than 75. The young females have aggressive disease and, very old may not be treated aggressively and, chances of recurrences occur in the first 3 years and, chances of recurrence is found up to 20 years.
Pathology of Breast Cancer
It has been researched that, ninety five percent of breast cancers are found to be carcinomas that is meant, they develop from breast epithelial elements. Doctors have divided breast cancer into two types, such as in situ carcinomas and invasive carcinomas. The in situ carcinomas may develop in ductal or lobular epithelium, and remained there for long time.
Risk Factors for Development of Breast Cancer
Breast Cancer is also common in North America and Northern Europe and, uncommon in Asia and Africa. Several studies have shown that, migration factors do not influence to a large extent to the incidence of the disease and, environmental and life style factors contribute much as risk factors for this disease.
Gender is also considered the risk factor to a large extent ...
