Introduction

In the competitive world of today, understanding the need for a commitment and the ethical duties needed for leadership is essential. It is also vital that leaders try their utmost to shorten the gap between them and their followers, as this is something that has been observed by many organizations in recent years. Organizational goals as well as individual goals must be monitored, documented and updated regularly by the employer as well as their subordinates. According to Burns (1978) ,”leadership is one of the most observed, but the least understood phenomena”. . In this paper, I will be examining my own personal growth goals and leadership qualities that I possess; that I believe will help me survive in the business world.

 

Discussion

The concept of ethics is one used and referred to constantly in our routine lives. It is reflected in most aspects of our lives, such as in the relationships one forms. It is ever present in behavioral approaches taken by a person, as well as their management abilities. The character of an individual who is basing their life choices and decisions on ethical principles in their daily life are one such example of ethics (Ferrell & Ferrell, 2008). The motivation behind arrangement of these beliefs making an appearance at a preliminary stage is done in order to provide clarification in the responsibilities handled by individuals in ensuring stable performance of our lives. I believe that trust as well as confidence is vital ingredients in an individual's life, hence everyone is constantly trying to incorporate these into their own lives.

 

Teaming and Intrapersonal Relationships

In organizational training, one of the first aspects of a professional life is to be able to form relationships with peers. Since individuals in a business environment must be able to work in groups and teams, it is vital that there are no limitations to this. Forming good intrapersonal relationships thus becomes necessary. Furthermore, the only way one can move forward in a business environment is to be able to utilize one's own potential as well as that of their peers and subordinates (Brenner, 2011).. In a team, it is important that all individuals are able to contribute fully to their potential, thus take forth the team as a strong suit, rather than just capitalize personally. Thus, a goal for me is to ensure I work well with others as well as giving them the appreciation and feedback they need to do well on their own.

I aim to apply an optimistic approach in my life, in order to achieve moral standards which I believe to be important to me. As a hard working individual myself, my mission is to express my ability and desire to others, and to provide motivation to them and in return, dedication.
