Personal development and professional growth and similar expressions, such as self-help (used primarily in the editorial context) are a very diverse set of proposals for popular psychology, pseudoscientific and spiritualist seeking to get things such as updating of human potential (psychological and spiritual) that the person can do beyond their natural development as a function of age (Nelson, 2010). My personal and professional situation analysis depends on the type of approaches that seek personal growth work as a person learning curve, through the consciousness of self, to take their chances of thinking, feeling and acting for such things as:
Use the free thought or autonomous.
Mastering a free charge, being a leader of self.
Having health emotional.
Achieve success in their ventures.
Its supporters claim it is a different job, but somehow matching or complementary can be done with the psychotherapy. They argue that things like psychotherapy tries to order something that is messy, that is, the passage of the disruption to the organization, from chaos to balance, personal growth while trying to reach the fullness, i.e., once already has the organization and balance, develop their own capacity for joy, vitality and creativity. Its objectives are intended to be:
Know yourself, honestly, locating strengths and weaknesses.
Evaluate what you want kept, would improve or change, and place the tools to do so.
Get rid of internal and external obstacles that once or in any way impede the leadership and good performance as a worker and leader.
Be who you want to be, where the thinking, feeling and acting are a cohesive unit or be related to personal attitude and responsibility.
