This paper intends to discuss the benefits of organic diet. Organic foods refer to the products that are being produced through methods which avoid synthetic inputs like chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Organic foods simple refers to the food which is least processed and the use of solvents food additives and irradiation is avoided in their production. Various products that are being developed and marketed to parents as beneficial for the development of infants and toddlers are usually intended to increase their sales through utilizing attractive marketing strategies. Using marketing strategies that are exaggerated or claim false benefits about the organic foods related to infants and toddlers will be explored in this paper. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the benefits of organic diet on the physical and cognitive development. Being more specific, the foods that are developed for infants and toddlers with a claim that they are completely organic and extremely beneficial for the health of children will be analyzed in this paper.

In today's modern society where diseases are spreading just about anywhere and even young children are facing serious health hazards, it is extremely important to focus on the eating patterns of our children since their infancy. There are various reasons that compel parents to buy organic foods for the purpose of developing their children's health and wellness. Incorporating organic foods in the daily lives of infants and toddlers provides a satisfaction and guarantee to parents about the safe and healthy future of their children. Organic foods are basically referred to as healthy and unrefined or unprocessed foods which are assumed to create a strong foundation for the health lifestyle of children. It is also interesting to realize that organic foods are liked by children, for instance, black olives, baby carrots and many more (Wright, Coverston, Tiedman & Abegglen, 2006).
Incorporating organic foods in the daily eating patterns of infants and toddlers facilitate their physical and cognitive development immensely. Having unhealthy foods that are full of additives and preservatives increases the chances of children for being exposed to various diseases from a very young age. Our society is currently facing the problem of 'child obesity' and other related diseases which makes it essential for parents to provide their children healthy eating patterns from the age where parents are in complete control for making choices for their children. It is evident that organic foods are expensive and that becomes the reason that many people do not opt for providing their children with organic foods (Adamkin, 2007).
