Introduction

This paper is about “Bad news messages” that are the written form of negative, unpleasant and disappointing information for a reader used in business. These are in a form of memo, email or a letter. Bad news messages are rejections, negative feedbacks or changed policy announcement that are not beneficial for the receiver. This bad news letter is written by the manager of a whole sale division company to a valued, old and regular retailer customer whose orders are not filled because of backlog.
