Introduction

The 2008 attacks in Mumbai were a series of 12 different and synchronized bombing and shooting events. Allegedly, these were carried forth by Islamist terrorists. It is also assumed that these terror mongers were trained operatives, who got their trainings from Islamic Republic of Pakistan. One of the attackers, Ajmal Kasab, was the only terrorist captured alive in the attacks. After interrogation, Ajmal revealed that the attackers were receiving reconnaissance assistance, before the plan was carried out.
