Emily is a 15 year-old with scoliosis and has suffered from this condition from the age of five when it was first diagnosed. She has been in and out of hospital with several investigations and procedures for the correction of her scoliosis. Scoliosis is a lateral deviation of the spinal column that may or may not include rotation or deformity of the vertebrae.
