This research is an attempt to explain certain number of essential issues in the area of studying a second language. Moreover, this study also highlights the impact of cultural and individual variations in studying styles of different languages (Heath, 1983).

The article is based on various myths that are essential to be unlearning for teachers. Each myth is followed by a detailed discussion of the related research on learning other language and its effects for class room teachers. The analysis suggest that it is essential for those teachers who are teaching other languages must understand that learning a second language during the initial years of school is more complex than learning in the later years. Also, the purpose of this paper is to explain a variety of important issues in the area of learning second language by talking about commonly held misunderstandings or myths.

These myths are denied by various researchers due to lack of prominent evidences from observational studies among both groups. Many researchers who criticized the concept of child learners being better than grownup, claims about a number of normally captured values or thoughts about age. The first perception of such researchers signifies that children comprehend a language faster than grownups. They conducted focus groups and chat whit those children who appears to adopt a new dialects with complete confidence. Maybe this concept concerns the plasticity of a child psychology. Another important criticism is related to the acquisition of certain for child who falls in the age bracket of sex years. These children are habitual of continuously make compromises until easily after puberty; this is applicable not only to the getting the first language, but also to second language. According to many scientists the crucial period may be related to the social period along with emotional period other than the biological nature. There are some uncertainty about stifling concept of acquisition to learners under the teenage life, as individuals with no understanding and at overdue age periods can still obtain a language or more (Lundeberg, 1967).
