Apple Inc. is a company headquartered in Cupertino, California (United States), the computer and consumer electronics, as well as operating systems and application software manufactures. Apple was in the 1970s, the first manufacturers of personal computers and contributed to its spread. It initially started its operations from California (Biddle, 2004). As Apple is and American organization and it's headquarter is also located in California, it does its business from America. Moreover, it also has factories and branches in other parts of the world, as well. For example, its products are being manufactured in China. Regarding Apple's business operations, it can be said that it is a multinational organization and operates its business in most parts of the world, either through opening factories or branches, or by authorizing resellers in other countries, where it does not have its operations (Barney, 2007).

Apple Connect is the program access tool for Apple technicians to provide online technical supports from the remote location for customers. The expertise allows technicians to gain access of customers' computer (with acceptance) for troubleshooting. This service allows Apple's representative to fix computer problems virtually and immediately without the site visit at customer's home. It helps in cutting the cost of both sides and minimizing miscommunications (Bello, Zhu, 2007).

Apple's desktop product line will follow the overall market trend of declining unit prices and a decrease in demand for these less portable hardware solutions. We estimate that there will be an average annual decrease of 5.95% in net sales of the Company's desktop product line through 2018 (Bello, Zhu, 2007).

As the smart phone market continues to penetrate the overall mobile subscriber base, we estimate that the iPhone will experience modest growth in net sales. A decline in unit prices due to the persistence of heavy competition and lower component costs will offset by an increase in penetration within the growing smart phone market as the iPhone had recently introduced on Verizon's (VZ) wireless network (Bello, Zhu, 2007).
