The authors of the story “The Necklace” and “The story of an hour “tries to explain and demonstrate the state of mind of the female characters. Both the female characters were unable to accept the reality and lost everything they had. The authors of both the novel wanted to show the worst results of not accepting the reality. Introduction
I would like to analyze these two short stories by the means of genders. Authors have discussed the gender of the female prominently in both short stories. Each and every single being needs inner satisfaction and desires, and to fulfill these satisfaction and desires the human being are being engaged in the struggles. Some people's approaches are positive and based on the rationalities and some people have destructive and negative approaches. These stories are about the two types of emotions of the females. These both female do not have the inner satisfaction like the Mrs. Mallard who is the main character of the story of an hour is dissatisfied because she wanted to live freely and wanted to express her feeling, feelings to live happy, wanted to get every joy of the life even though she was belonged to a well wealthy family and her husband was also well established person on the other hand the Mathilde Loisel the main character of the story “The Necklace”, is not satisfied because she is not pretty rich and cannot be able to enjoy every stuff and joy of the life as rich people do. The Diamond Necklace or The Necklace, it's a short story written by Guy de Maupassant, firstly it was published in year of 1884 in a French newspaper that was Le Gaulois, and the real name of this story is La Parure. Whereas “The story of an hour” is another short story and written by the Kate Chopin's in the year of 1894. Both authors have portrayed a great and surprisingly plots. Surprisingly in the sense that the ending of the both stories is unexpected and the reader enjoys a lot when he checks the end.

The story of an hour, Mrs. Mallard, apparently who is a very caring and loving woman, and extremely sincere to her husband.
