As a prominent archaeologist, I have made several notable discoveries about the life of people before the 22nd century. Just a few weeks back I was asked to travel to a field near Houston because some of my colleagues found a capsule that seemed to be a few hundred years old. The very moment I heard this news I knew that this is something of great importance and probable the greatest discoveries of 2325.

The capsule was made from strong glass, and sealed quite tight that it had to be broken up in order to extract the contents. Upon opening the capsule, we found five items carefully wrapped in plastic and preserved quite well. One by one, each item was removed from the plastic wrap that helped it to preserve the contents. These items included the following:

A photograph of what seems to be a person on the moon standing near a US flag

A sheet of music whose singers were mentioned as 'The Beatles'

A front page of a newspaper with a topic of the six days war

A speech by Martin Luther King

A short report on a war called the 'Vietnam war'

Description of Items

Photograph

The first thing we took out from the capsule was a photograph of an astronaut standing near a flag of the United States. Perhaps this picture portrays a fact that the United States was the first country to send a man on the moon. This is the reason this picture was placed in the capsule. This picture also helped us to identify the period when the contents were placed in the capsule since the date when the picture was taken was mentioned behind the picture.

Sheet of Music

The capsule also contained a sheet of music titled “The Beatles”. We were all delighted after the music was deciphered. The presence of this sheet of music in the capsule means that this band probably transformed music in the world.

Newspaper Article

Also contained in the capsule was a front page of a newspaper article. This article mentioned a war between Israel and some Arab nations. We were surprised when we read that one small nation was able to defeat several major nations in just six days. It was mentioned that the war was called “The six day war”.

A Speech

There was a speech my someone names Martin Luther King Jr. Upon reading the speech, we were inspired by the content. It seemed that this person played a major role in helping black people to free themselves from the discrimination that was taking place against them during the 1960's.

Report on the Vietnam War

The last item found in the capsule was a short report on the Vietnam War. This was a civil war in which several other powers took part including the United States, which played a major role in the war. The results were North Vietnam annexing South Vietnam to form a single country.
