As Creswell and others explained, the qualitative approach is a departure from positivist leanings, that have commanded research for decades. Further, this has been asserted that the paradigm underpinning qualitative methodology is known by numerous names, including constructivist, naturalistic, interpretive, post-positivist, and postmodern.
