Introduction

The ability to interact with others at work is a talent that requires communication skills which is lacking in many individuals. Some people naturally possess this talent and are valued more than smarter and more charming people at workplace. A poor communication and lack of interaction with those around you will not help you in progress and prosperity of their work. Fortunately that man can acquire this skill and developed to be effective and happier in his work and earns the love and respect for everyone. It's important to eliminate all the barriers of communication.

This paper is about the significance and form of communication process that occurs between two persons. We are provided with two versions of an e-mail that are intended to address the same issue but are addressed in different manners. This difference is basically due to the usage of different style of communication that created a huge dissimilarity between the two messages with the same context. The first version is the example of a poorly written message lacking all the essentials of a good communication process. On the other hand, the other version is written using great communication skills that will surely leave a positive impact on the receiver.

This message is basically sent by a manufacturer or a producer to his client who has placed an order with him. The manufacturer failed to produce the required quantity of order in time and is trying to communicate this in a positive manner. The manufacturer used the medium of e-mail for this purpose.

Discussion

The nonverbal communication is very complex and ambiguous. So it is "unfortunately" not possible, every body movement attributable only to a specific meaning. Therefore, it can often lead to misunderstandings. Especially interesting is the observation of non-verbal communication in an intercultural context. For success at workplace, beside hard work your good etiquettes and communicational skills value the most. It is well-known that you have to be formal at your workplace (Rentz, 2011, p25).

At office an employee needs to show professionalism. The way you communicate with your superiors, peers and subordinates is noticed by everyone. The mode of communication at workplace is typically formal. Effective communication is the ability to deal with others easily. And the information is delivered to others with clarity and attention. The following tools will help the individual to acquire this skill. Every communication channel requires skills that are applicable to the form of communication used to send messages. We can see in both the mails that the sender does not have to waste his time in arranging a meeting to discuss about the condition of the first party they dealt the matter on mail.
