In this study we try to explore the concept of “Media” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Media” and its relation with “Society”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Media” and tries to gauge its effect on “health of viewers”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “Media” and tries to describe the overall effect of “Media” on “the overall progression of society”.

Introduction
This paper encompasses the whereabouts of how far and wide does media affect the health of individuals, who watch different channels and view a variety of content that may otherwise bring changes in people's behaviours. For focus, we shall limit our paper to the impact of media upon child development and health issues associated with it.

Today, children are immersed in the culture of media through television, videos, computer games and the Internet. They spend most of their time in front of a screen that has become part of everyday life for most families. Television is one of the favorite activities of children, estimated that television encourages at least 10% of youth violence. Although some stations contain certain restrictions, these are not always appropriate for all ages. The violent video games are the most popular (Linebarger & Walker, p.1). Such videos expose children to violence. It has been shown in various studies, that these videos increase the levels of aggression in young people and children. In addition to that, the music contains lyrics that often refer to sex, drugs, alcohol and violence. The heavy music and rap music have glorified violence. The greatest dangers of exposing children to violence and sex by the media are as follows:
