In this study we try to explore the concept of “Chakras” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Chakras” and its relation with “Color Meditation”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Chakras” and tries to gauge its effect on “Color Meditation”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “Chakras” and tries to describe the overall effect of “Topic” on “Color Meditation”.

Chakras
The chakras are subtle energy vortexes in and outside of the body that are organic as much as the soul exists, but in a different spiritual areas such as yoga, meditation, tantra, Reiki and healing systems such as TCM, Ayurveda, etc. for thousands of years have their place and throughout Western body therapies such as bioenergetics and the Alexander technique, they appear again and again. The Sanskrit word chakra literally means wheel and refers to energy centers where it condenses, flows and transforms the vital energy or prana. They lie at the intersection of the Nadis or astral tubes that circulate energy (see section Pranayama), having 7 major chakras. Both Nadis and astral tubes, are level chakras of the astral body in the astral plane, which is the subtle counterpart of the physical body (Allen & Blashki, pp.285-294).
The three main nadis are Ida, Pingala and Sushumna nadi. The physical and the astral body are overlapping and interconnected. At the level of the physical body Sushumna nadi starts from the base of the spine in the coccyx area, and extends to the top of the head. For the most part extension coincides with the spinal cord. Ida and Pingala nadi, the symbolism is represented by the caduceus of Mercury, are running nadis Sushumna nadi laterally, and these nadis through which energy flows normally, producing a dual consciousness, governed by bipolarity, observer- observed, subject and object, and binary logic (Salmon & Sephton, Pp.434-446). The seven chakras or energy centers are located main along Sushumna nadi, each representing a particular state of consciousness, and are associated with major nerve plexuses of the physical body (Arias & Steinberg, Pp.817-832).
Main Functions of the Chakras
Revitalize each aural or energy body and thus the physical body;
Lead to the development of various aspects of self-consciousness, as each chakra is associated with a specific psychological function, and
Transmit energy between the auric levels progressively as each layer exists in ever-increasing frequency octaves.
The seven chakras are viewed as the main energy centers of the people and are located along the spine or central vertical axis of the body. These connection points will be thought of as a funnel, projecting several inches in front of the body surface. The chakras are invisible. Therefore, the recognition of their importance has taken a while. Meanwhile, however, they have in many systems, especially if they are a permanent place of Eastern origin (Baer, Pp.125-143).
