Introduction

In the last century, the development in different technologies has grown progressively. Our society has progresses a lot further then it was a century ago. Humans have built different tools to make the daily jobs easier and faster. Over the past century, different inventions have and are still emerging from all over the world. As the technology is progressing, humans are thinking of more and more ways to modify, make them more advanced and even develop innovative technologies to perform the task even faster.

In the past few years, the most popular and fast spreading technology are cell phones. Since their introduction, they have been undergoing dramatic modification; emerging sleeker, slimmer and more compact. They have now become cheaper while having numerous applications. Cell phones were once seen as a sign of luxury, have now become a necessity for everyone. Our society has come to the realization of the need to have a quick and affordable access with their families and loved ones. Blackberry Smartphone is one of the latest emerging technologies. It has become the new fad among the people. It allows an individual to keep up with his personal life as well as his professional life whenever he goes. It is smart, sleek and compatible. However, it is a fact that, in a few days, an even advanced phone then the Blackberry will emerge making the Blackberry smart phone yesterdays news.

It is now a common fact that the technology keeps changing and evolving. Thos changing and evolution has spread even more than before. From the evolution of dynamite, typewriter, microphone in the 1860s to jet engine, ballpoint pen, atomic bomb, microwave oven etc in the 1900s, these developments were made after some gaps but nowadays the technological development is emerging even faster (Joy, 45). Digital satellite radio, nanotechnology transistors, iPod, NA ID software, rewritable DVD system, brain implant, talking child-size robot, electronic book reader, wireless electric power system, solar-powered mobile phone, iPhone, laser gun, Xbox and many other new technology and technological advancement have been made in 2000 up till now (Telecom, 24). These technologies and their modifications have emerged within months and even days from each other.

In this century, one doesn't have to live long to witness the modifications and new versions of a certain technology and the spread of the technology. For instance, we have witnessed the spread of computers and then their advancement in the form of laptops within the span of just a few years. Technologies like this have altered our lives and how we perform the tacks. They have become a major part of our everyday life.
