Abstract

In this study we try to explore the concept of Racial discrimination in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on discrimination on accounts of black and white and its relation with the development and appraisal of people. The research also analyzes many aspects of racial discrimination and tries to gauge its effect on human development. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for discrimination prevalent among races and tries to describe the overall effect of racial discrimination on human societies that exist today.

Introduction

Racial discrimination between black and whites has been a bone of contention between all societies that have existed in the society. Till today, societies have largely, but on a more innate level, despised the looks of both black and whites jointly and unanimously.

For the purpose and objective of making significant amends and drawing viable and justified conclusion, we shall discuss the concept of discrimination in great detail. Generally when it comes to discrimination, it clearly implies the concept of making preference and intending to one commodity, item, person or even a situation over the other. This phenomenon generally occurs in our daily lives; from schools, colleges and universities to even more professional settings such as the corporate world (Hyde, 2005, 581-592).

Discrimination has been a serious concern for corporations even today for all of us to succumb and see. Recently, discrimination against lesbian women and gay men in the military has received a considerable amount of attention. Throughout American history, military service personnel have been removed from duty for identifying themselves as gay or lesbian.
